For over four decades, my career revolved around CADD and GIS — supporting engineers and geologists on civil engineering projects with precise, technical presentations. Now I am stepping away from that rigor and structure to follow a long-held dream: fine art photography.
This shift is a move from the objective clarity of technical visualization to the subjective nuance of art. My background gives me a disciplined eye for composition, spatial relationships, and detail; those strengths now inform a new practice focused on landscape, nature, and raptors in flight. I’m trading technical models, line-work and layers for mood, color, and the quiet storytelling of a single frame.
As I embark on this journey, I’m committed to producing archival pigment prints on museum-quality papers—images meant for hospitality spaces, residential interiors, and boutique hotels that seek atmosphere and depth. The work will reflect a patient, observational approach: deeply hued, moody pieces and striking avian studies that invite closer looking.
I welcome the transition from technical communicator to emerging fine art photographer and look forward to sharing images that blend technical discipline with emotional resonance.
During the next couple months this site will showcase a selection of pieces to introduce my photographic work and style.
The goal is to offer a selection of curated limited edition prints and framed fine-art photography prints starting 2027.
